Velazquez, Theriot injured in Keeneland race

John Velazquez was hospitalized Friday after a spill at Keeneland that also injured fellow jockey Jamie Theriot. Velazquez was sent to the University of Kentucky trauma unit for evaluation, track medical director Barry Schumer said. He said Velazquez was alert and moving his arms and legs.
