Former Duke guard Elliot Williams has landed close to home, according to a published report.
Williams told the Memphis Commercial Appeal for Sunday's editions that he intends to transfer to Memphis to be closer to his ailing mother. On Wednesday, Duke announced that Williams was leaving school in hopes of playing closer to his Memphis home to deal with an unspecific family medical situation.
