Tate carries Heels to victory

When Brandon Tate cut up the field for a 20-yard gain that set the North Carolina record for all-purpose yards in a game, the fans who had stuck with the Tar Heels through rain, lightning and 20 straight McNeese State points stood for a rousing ovation.
