Legislators look to reform transit aid law
DURHAM -- Congressional leaders have signaled that they want to change the rules governing the distribution of transit subsidies in a way that among other things could help Triangle communities get a commuter-rail system going.

DURHAM — Sales at the TNT Fireworks stand have been hot this week, stoked by families’ plans to stay closer to home this Fourth of July and still have an entertaining holiday, according to employees at the Guess Road stand in front of Honey’s restaurant.
