Grand jury to hear case of dead girl

BUTNER -- A grand jury on Oct. 6 is going to hear the case of a southern Granville County couple accused of manslaughter by negligence in connection with a drug- and alcohol-related overdose death of their 21-month-old daughter, District Attorney Sam Currin said.
