The Herald-Sun lets loose the bloggers?

Funny, I've been hoping this will happen for a while. Consider this a test post to see if it actually works.

The ad that caught my attention said, "tell us what you really think." Okay, here's what I really think. Don't let John McCann anywhere near this thing. He really takes writing to a level I wasn't sure was possible -- it's difficult to be that tasteless AND that boring at the same time. Usually one has to be sacrificed for the other. Mix that in with his embarrassing ignorance of theology and Christian thought while lecturing others from his soapbox, and you have a really unbelievably bad journalist. Sure, the old blind hog finds an acorn every now and again, and in his clumsiness he manages to stumble across some rather interesting neighborhood stories. (But then again, a bull in a china shop would probably help you find that silver spoon that went missing a while back.)

With as much trouble as the Herald-Sun is in right now, he's dead weight.

Okay, let's see if this actually posts... :)
